Welcome to Food365, a blog for people who love food as much as I do. Here, with the help of some of my food-loving friends, I will attempt to celebrate Food Holidays. You’ve heard of them, I’m sure. Everyone has seen on social media when their friends celebrate “National Margarita Day” or “National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day.” But did you know that there’s a day like that for almost every day of the year? And I’m going to celebrate every one of them I possibly can, either by purchasing or cooking that day’s food. This is, all at once, a way for me to expand my food horizons, learn to cook new things, and share my culinary adventures with the world. Who am I? My name is Lori. I am not a chef. I am not a foodie. I am just a normal, average girl who likes to eat. I also really like celebrating things. So, please, celebrate with me. I can’t promise any of the food I make or consume will be healthy, pretty, or even good. I can’t even fully promise I’m going to blog every day (I’ll do my best, but I might explode trying to eat all this food/go broke buying it). But I do promise to try, and maybe be a little funny or entertaining along the way.

I’m not quite that concerned with the validity of the holidays, just with the foods I’ll be promoting. I created my own calendar based on this Wikipedia article and this awesome blog.
