National Quiche Lorraine Day

Today, I made a goddamn quiche.

I’m very proud of myself. As you know, I’ve never been all that dedicated to accuracy or effort on this blog. But today, I decided I wanted to really, actually make quiche lorraine. And it worked out brilliantly.

I followed this recipe, except I used egg whites and turkey bacon and mozzarella cheese because that’s how I roll.

Oooh bacon. I burnt my finger cooking this, and it hurts like hell. Worth it.

My verdict? This was super delicious. I mean, it’s basically just eggs and bacon and cheese, so obviously it’s good. I would definitely make this again.
