National Sourdough Bread Day

I love bread. It helps me carry delicious sandwich ingredients into my face. I like basically all types of bread, and sourdough is always a classic choice. I bought a loaf of sliced sourdough from the bakery at the super market.

And since it’s called “sourdough panini,” I felt as though it was my duty to make a panini. Or, more accurately, grilled cheese. I made mozzarella and pesto grilled cheese on sourdough bread, aka a sandwich I’ve made about a hundred times for this blog already:

And it was delicious. As always.
